The New Fashion Trends To Watch Out For in 2016

Fashion Forecast for 2016

Fashion Forecast for 2016

With the runway season almost coming to an end, we're pretty sure you're all pumped up to start giving your closet a makeover. Before a new year starts, now is certainly the best time to scout for the right fabrics and dresses that will suit well in 2016. We've followed the various fashion shows in the past months, and here are the consistent best looks so far that will certainly make another hit next year:

  • Feminine and Romantic - We can also expect classic elegance in 2016, with the use of highly feminine cuts, and subtle hues and prints (spell white and floral). Majority of the dresses from the Spring collection of top fashion designers like Alexander McQueen and Tory Burch exude really light look that any average girl can definitely wear everyday.

  • Off the Shoulder - we've seen the off-shoulder trend go big this year, and guess what? We can expect more shoulder and collar bone show off in 2016, as well! This look is both sexy and cozy to pull-off. It's going to be another favorite come summer and spring next year. Need new inspirations? Check out the collections from Sonia Rykiel, Boss, and Peter Pilotto.

  • Glittery and Bold - for those who are more inclined into the louder side of fashion, fret none. 2016 will not just be about subtle and feminine looks. There's still room for sequins and shine as showcased during the past runways. It's all about incorporating a bit of glow to a simple piece of outfit to make it stand out.

  • Sleepwear Fashion - From Vera Wang to Calvin Klein collections, we've seen a lot of sleepwear kind of dresses making a stand in the runway. This means for flowy silks and laces for casual and formal looks in 2016.

What are you waiting for? Start scouting for the perfect fabric now and sew away to get ready for next year’s trend.
